Congratulations to Meauxgul client Ruth E. Carter for her nomination for Best Costume Design at The 25th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards for Netflix’s Dolemite Is My Name. The winners will be revealed at the star-studded Critics’ Choice Awards gala, which will once again be hosted by film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs, and broadcast live on The CW Television Network on Sunday, January 12, 2020.
Overall, the film received four nominations: Best Actor (Eddie Murphy), Best Costume Design, Best Comedy and Best Hair and Makeup. Dolemite Is My Name is Ms. Carter’s latest work with director Craig Brewer and the two have teamed up again for Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America sequel, Coming 2 America.
